Why is this world we live in so VAIN?

Isn't being a woman so hard?

Aside from getting our monthly period, going through 10 months of pregnancy, labor, cooking, cleaning, working.....  we have this stress that the world puts on us to ALWAYS LOOK GOOD. We have to dress up, put heels on, make up, blow dry hair, workout and keep up with the ladies on the covers of the magazines.

Give us a break!  Don't you just want to SCREAM that out loud?

Listen girlfriend, I know how you feel!  And all I have to say to you is you are BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT in your own way!  You don't have to keep up with the COVER MODELS. You just have to take a positive step forward and get to the place where you feel good about yourself. But do it for you, not for anybody else!

I just spoke to a very close friend who recently had a baby.  I asked her if she was eating good and if she was back to pre-prego weight.  She said no to both questions.  She said she was eating ok, but she felt balance and that to her is key.

And I couldn't agree anymore!!  With a 4 year old, a newborn, a home, a husband, and a business, what more could you expect.

Listen girlfriend, I know how hard it is, and I am not expecting you to look like you belong on the cover of Oxygen magazine. 

All I desire is for you to feel good about yourself.  So what you have to do, is take a step in the right direction.  Maybe for you its a lifestyle change, or maybe its just starting to eat a healthy breakfast.  Whatever it is as long as its a step in the right direction, your on the right path.

So if you have a desire to feel good about yourself or to look and feel better than you do today, set a goal.  Whether its a big goal or a little goal.  Write it down and read it every day!  Make a  plan of action of how you are going to achieve it.  And then do everything you can to stick to it!

And before you know it you will feel so good about yourself, and you will look in the mirror and feel good and look good and it will make the hard work so worth it.

Dont' worry about this very VAIN world we live in and EAT HEALTHY & WORKOUT to feel good, have energy, and look good.......CUZ YOU WANT TO!!

Today is Wednesday, its the day I cook for 2 nights!  So off to cooking.  Making chicken rollups with asparagus and apricot glaze, and Chicken with honey mustard apple concoction.  I'm taste testing recipes for my next cooking class.

By the way, I made 2 phenomenal dinners on Monday.  Both with Ground Turkey.  Soooo Yum!  These will definitely be on my next EAT TO BE FIT HEALTHY COOKING PROGRAM.

It takes some time to cook, but it is soooo worth it.  Try to find the time in your busy schedule to do some healthy cooking.  It will help you stay on track with your diet, and will help you enjoy the process of getting in shape!
