What should you do for your wedding weight loss plan?

Start by eating small meals every 3-4 hours.  Each meal should include a lean protein, a starchy carbohydrate, and a fibrous vegetable.  If you need to lose more than 10lbs, cut back on carbohydrates every other day.

I know it’s hard to eat so many meals in a day, but if you plan ahead you can totally do it!  Here is a recipe for a treat called muscle scoops, my colleague Greg Avedon came up with it and it’s great!  You can eat 2 of these as a snack, they will give you tons of energy.

WEIGHT LOSS WEDDING RECIPES:  MUSCLE SCOOPS

Ingredients:
2 cups (or a 16 oz. jar) of natural style Smucker's Organic Chunky peanut butter, drained of separated oil
2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds

Instructions:
Step 1 – Dump all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well using a fork.  This takes some muscle, so be sure you mix all the ingredients to incorporate them well.
Step 2 – When mixed, form them into walnut sized balls and place in a container lined with parchment or wax paper to separate.
Step 3 – Place into the freezer for at least two hours before serving. Store in the freezer.

NOTE: For uniform sized scoops, use a melon ball scooper that looks like an ice cream scoop.
