Pregnancy Nutrition Healthy Snack Recipe

Now that my son is almost 2 and looking back, I am so happy that I maintained a healthy pregnancy nutrition.  I think it makes all the difference in the world.  Not only was Nicholas never sick and a very healthy baby, but he is a great eater.  And I credit that all to my pregnancy nutrition.

I also nursed my son for a full year so postpartum nutrition is also very important as the baby can taste the food you ingest in your meals.  So take this amazingly easy and delicious healthy snack and integrate it into your pregnancy nutrition.

Eating healthy will prevent nausea, give you more energy, and prevent excess weight gain.  Make sure that you eat every 2-3 hours.  Eat a small meal including protein, healthy starches and vegetables.  I know you are probably thinking that eating so many times a day is overwhelming, but if you are prepared with healthy snacks like this, it can be a breeze!

This recipe will help you stick to a healthy pregnancy nutrition, so make sure to try it and then come back on my blog and tell me all about it.  I'm telling you, they are delicious and you can carry them in your purse.

Prego Oatmeal Pancakes:

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oatmeal

1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese

3 egg whites

1/4 banana or any fresh fruit

2 tbsp walnuts or almonds, chopped (optional)

Sweetener to taste:  Agave Nectar, Coconut Sugar, Stevia, Splenda

Cinnamon to taste

Instructions:

In a blender, blend all the ingredients (except if using any fruit other than banana, which you would fold in to the batter).  Cook on a small skillet at medium heat like a normal pancake.

If you want to make it to 40 don't eat any of these foods. Especially anything with soy. Interesting how these girls smoaltuneiusly promote low-carb and low fat. This is the equivalent of promoting both Rush Limbaugh and Michael Moore. Low-carb is the way to go, with real foods. Have some buffalo wings. Have some cheese. Enjoy yourself.

I had 2 miscarriages brfoee I ever had any children. It was really hard to get through, but I managed. About a year later I found out I was pregnant with my son Derek, and was really worried about having a miscarriage again. I just took things easy and one day at a time, and now he is going to be 5 years old. Following that I had 2 more children and everything went great. And the after that I went through a divorce, and my current fiance and I went through another 2 miscarriages. The doctor ran tests and found no reason as to why I have had so many miscarriages. I was told to wait at least 3 months brfoee trying again. We kinda gave up at that time, and strangely enough 3 months later we were pregnant again. We had a beautiful healthy baby girl. Now I am pregnant with baby #5, another girl, and things are going well (though I am gettin fixed after this lol 5 kids is enough).
