Online Fitness Training: Lose Weight & Get Toned

So many women want to get in shape and have tight and toned arms and thighs, but all they want to do is CARDIO!  The other day I had a lady contact me, she was so excited that she was going to start exercising, she was going to start online fitness training.  She was ready to get tight and toned.  As I spoke to her about the design of her program, she started freaking out.  She had never done any sorts of WEIGHT-TRAINING, and she didn’t want to start now…….she didn’t want to get “BIG”!

• Muscle is metabolically active tissue.  It is the actual site in the body where fat is burned.  Hence the saying “the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn”.

• Muscle is dense and compact.  Fat on the other hand is dispersed, occupying a lot of space.  This is why sometimes the scale won’t change even though body fat and body circumferences are going down.

• Muscle will not get you “BIG”.  It is not physiologically possible to build fat on top of muscle.  They both happen simultaneously.  You will burn fat and build muscle, and as I mentioned above, the more muscle you have, the more fat you will burn.  So stop WAITING until you burn fat and lose weight by doing JUST CARDIO, to then start lifting weights and getting toned…….that is a total waste of time girlfriend!  Speed up the process by doing both!

This workout is for chest, shoulders, and triceps, and it is to be performed once per week.
Perform each circuit 3 times with 60 seconds rest in between each circuit.

A1.  12 Incline dumbbell presses
A2.  12 Dumbbell fly’s
A3.  12 push-ups, and hold the last repetition at the bottom phase for 10 seconds.

B1.  12 Upright rows
B2.  12 Dumbbell shoulder presses
B3.  12 Lateral raises, and hold the last repetition at the top phase for 10 seconds.

C1.  12 Dips
C2.  12 Dumbbell skull crushers
C3.  12 Rope tricep pulldown, and hold the last repetition at the bottom phase for 10 seconds
