I am a 37-year old mother of two, ages 5 and 6. I have worked out in the gym since high school and have had personal trainers from time to time. Although my body has always been toned and fit, it was not until I began training with Michelle Valladares-Diaz that my body actually transformed into what I now consider to be its' healthiest and most fit. I have lost 6% body fat. I lost 6.7 lbs of fat, and gained a lean 12.7 lbs of lean sexy muscle. I am currently 8% body fat!! How about that!!!
I have trained with Michelle one hour, twice a week for over two and a half years, in addition to taking her kick boxing class once a week. She has crafted my workouts to an exact science and can achieve any specifications I have requested of her. Although we joke about it, I can tell her that I need one-eighth of an inch off here or there and sure enough, a week or two later, it is gone! She has personally tailored each of my workouts to fit my specific goals and body type. For instance, if I begin to feel that my arms are getting too big, we will begin to concentrate on chest and back work, which will only indirectly tone my arms and leans me out.
For the past two and a half years, Michelle and I have traveled along a long and winding workout road. Every 4-5 weeks, after a measurement, body fat test and weighing. Michelle implements a new workout program for me. When I say new, I am not kidding. There have been times when she has invented a program never before done by her or her clients in an effort to see if I will survive it (needless to say, so far so good). We first began with light weight-workouts and then to heavy weights in order to build muscle. When I became thicker, we began Pilates workouts to elongate the muscles and boot camp workouts consisting of a mix of cardio and weights to increase my heart rate and lean out. I can honestly say I have never done the same program twice. To this day, Michelle is inventing new exercises to try out on me.
Although I am an extremely hard worker and dedicated exerciser, Michelle pushes me to the limit. My form is exemplary. I have an understanding of what exercises work on what muscle groups and why I am doing what I am doing. Michelle can watch me exercise and actually read my muscles to correct what I am doing in order to achieve maximum efficiency. We never go a day without laughing and having a lot of fun. I have never had so many people approach me in a gym and constantly tell me how great I look and how impressed they are with my work ethic. I owe all of this to Michelle. She is truly the most competent, educated and talented fitness trainer in the world!
