I know you know where I'm going with this........... Yes, I am back from Europe. It was an amazing 2 weeks!
This is where we stayed in Tuscany!
I worked so hard before I left knowing I wanted to indulge and not hold back on all the goodies in Europe. I have to say that a few times I thought, I should hold back I shouldn't eat that, etc, but you know what, who knows when I will be able to go there again, I was on my second honeymoon with my awesome hubby, and I really did work hard before I left........so............. I indulged and I didn't hold back...........and the consequences..........4LBS!
Ugh, I know!
But it was sooo worth it, yep thats a waffle!
I was moderated in my quantities, but it was so far off of my regular diet!
I did workout 5 of the days. I did quick 30 minute body weight and band workouts right outside our villa in Tuscany. It was fun to work out in the mountains and it was quick enough that it didn't intervene with our daily plans, as I was not about to set my alarm early to get a workout in on vacation.....Danny would have killed me!

But I am confident I will lose them in 2 weeks. Here is how, if you want to try this next time you gain a few LBS after vacation.

I am going to explain to you my plan because I want you to learn from it. I think most people would FREAK after gaining 4lbs in 2 weeks, and in an attempt to lose them like the day before yesterday, they begin to STARVE themselves.......... Big NO NO! This will just MESS WITH YOUR HEAD and you will end up binging and not losing weight.
I thought about cutting carbs right away, but honestly I have been eating pasta, meat, dessert, croissants and wine every day for 2 weeks. If I just eat OPTIMALLY the first week and HYDRATE properly, I will lose some weight.
Remember if you want a POSITIVE CHANGE in your body, you must CREATE A STIMULUS. If you start by starving yourself or cutting back on carbs or calories too soon, it will be hard to create another stimulus so take it one step at a time, change one thing a week, cut one thing a week, and you will get there, and you won't lose SANITY!

So here it is:
Week 1 Fat Loss Strategy:
- Eat a Lean Protein, a Starchy Carb, and a Fibrous Vegetable every 3-4 hours, cut carbs for last meal.
- Don't skip any meals.
- Hydrate properly: I'm going for a gallon a day
- Start all my supplements again: Complete Female Multi Vitamin, Omega Ultra Marine, Cortisol AM, DIM, Max Stress B, and Digestzymes. YIKES, I know its a lot, but sooooooo EFFECTIVE. To get these or read up on them click here: BB3 Supplements
- Its a busy week coming back from Vaca and with this darn rain I haven't been able to run outside so my cardio will only be 2 days and 3 weight workouts, I may post these next week so stay tuned.
I know it seems pretty simple, but it will work, remember you are going from eating very poorly so this is a huge change for the body. Now for week 2 I will step it up by manipulating carbohydrates just for one week and hopefully I will be 4lbs lighter.
Week 2 Fat Loss Strategy:
- Eat a Lean Protein and a Fibrous Vegetable every 3-4 hours for 2 days and then an optimal day including carbohydrates. So Monday and Tuesday will be Fire/Protein Days, Wednesday will be an Optimal/Fuel Day, Thursday and Friday will be Fire/Protein Days and Sunday will be a Optimal/Fuel Day.
- Add more Healthy Fats to my meals on Protein/Fire Days: example: avocado, nuts, seeds.
- Hydrate Properly
- Increase cardio by 2 days, so 4 days of Interval Cardio Workouts, and 3 Weight Training Workouts.
- Continue on my supplements
I will let you know what the outcome was in 2 weeks and if I reached my goal! Try this plan next time you gain a few YUKY LBS after vaca!! Hey I am so proud of my 4lbs, they were WELL WORTH IT! Life is all about BALANCE so enjoy it!
