Ever since I had Nicholas, I am so much more TIRED.

It’s hard to understand…….. I work less but I do so much more! I wake up at 4am and I literally don’t stop until 10pm. I go from working out to working, to playing with Nicholas to running errands for my hubby, to paying bills, to working on my business, to cooking, to cleaning, to bathing Nicholas and feeding and ugh it goes on. I’m exhausted all the time!
Before Nicholas, my alarm clock would ring at 4am and I would up and go without even thinking about it. But now it’s so much harder, so believe me when I say, I know how you feel. But even though it’s hard, so far every time I have woken up and gone to the gym for a workout.
The other day when my alarm went off, I thought I was going to die. There was no way I had the energy to get up. I could sleep a whole hour more. As I battled with myself on whether I should get up or not, I remembered my old tactic (pre-baby).
When the alarm went off, I didn’t think about whether I felt good enough, whether I slept long enough, or whether I felt like it. I just got up and went to the gym. Why should I change now, I thought.
Did I get up that day?
You bet I did, and I also had an amazing workout and felt great!
I had a moment of weakness but I worked through it. And I urge you to do the same! If you were to think about whether you felt good, ate good, slept good, or felt like it or had the time to go to the gym. You probably wouldn’t make it half the time. So do what I do. Set the days and times for your workouts and don’t think about it, just do it! When that alarm goes off, or that alert goes off to remind you its time to workout, don’t think about all the reasons you cant go, just get up and go. I promise you will feel better after, and you will also be a step closer to reaching your goals.
