How The Heck Do I Eat Right ... I Don't Have Time!

So you are working full time, trying to decorate your new home, planning a wedding, attending to your fiancé, while trying to lose weight. I know it can be overwhelming, I have been there before. Can it be done? Can you lose weight even though you have no time to prepare healthy food every day, and workout every day for a couple of hours??????????????

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!
There is good news and bad news. The good news is that YES, it can be done. The bad news, which is not so bad is that there is some work involved. But hey, everything in life worth having take some sort of effort. Isn't looking fabulously sleek and toned for your wedding worth it???????
I say YES!!!!!!
It is really not so hard. The only thing you have to do is PLAN AHEAD! If you do not plan ahead, it will never happen because you have too much going on right now. So let me give you a few pointers.
You need:

  • A Shopping list
  • To schedule when you do your groceries
  • A lunch box
  • To pick a day to bulk cook
  • To pre-package meals in Tupperware's
  • To every night think of what the next day agenda is and how many meals you will need
  • To have plenty of water available
  • To schedule your workouts as if it was part of your job

If this seems feasible, than get ready for a fabulously sleek and toned body, because this is all it takes. You do not have to eat out, buy frozen food, or eat granola bars, apples and celery all day.
I will give you an example of what I do.
Sunday is a relaxing day for me, so I do my grocery shopping then.

Monday's I have an hour free so I do my bulk cooking then. Yes, all it takes is an hour.

This is how it goes.

  • Season 6 chicken breast with Mrs. Dash seasoning, or one of your choice.
  • Cook 2 cups of brown rice.
  • Bake a few sweet potatoes.
  • Defrost bagged veggies and season.
  • Make 5 oatmeal and egg white pancakes.
  • Make a batch of protein muffins.
  • Make a batch of egg white muffins.
  • Make sure to have tuna available.

Then I place all of this in big Tupperware's, and every night I portion out the meal that I need depending on how many meals I will be away from home for. Usually I eat breakfast and dinner at home, so I pack 3-4 meals.

Every night I think about the following day, and how many meals I will need. Sometimes I will eat out for lunch so that is one less meal. I pre-package them into individual Tupperware's.

Every morning, I take however many meals I need, and I place them in my cute pink lunch box. Yes, I take my pink lunch box everywhere I go!!!!!
About the workouts…………….
Say I have 5 workouts next week, I put them into my agenda as if it was a work appointment. This way I will not schedule anything else during this time. If you do not do this, trust me, you will always find something else to do. And there is never a good time!!! You just have to do it, and before you know it, it will become a habit.
TTTAAAAADDDDDAAAAAA!!!!!!!
That is all it takes. You just need some preparation. You just have to make sure that your shopping list is good, no granola bars or tons of fruit and pre-packaged foods.
Trust me………if I can do this with my busy schedu
