How do you find "ME" again after you have kids? Check out how to fit WORKOUT, HEALTHY COOKING & PLA

It’s so hard to find BALANCE in life! Especially when you are a mom.

I get emails from “moms” all the time.  They usually say somewhat of the same thing.  “I LOST “me”, and I need to find “me” again.”

I totally understand you!  As with a one year old, I am still trying to get used to the fact that my life isn’t really mine anymore!  I can’t just up and go and up and do as I want.

But I have found that with a preparation and planning, you can find “you” again.

For me, it’s been a battle of being a mom, a wife, a trainer, and CEO of my online business (michellemariefit.com), while maintaining sanity and balance.

But with a plan, it’s been pretty good!  I’ll give you an example of my day yesterday.  I have to say it was pretty balanced.

  • I worked out from 5-6am.
  • Worked from 6-11am.
  • Went for breakfast and a little shopping with a friend and Nicholas.
  • Prepped for cooking class, all the while making dinner for Nicholas, Danny and myself.  I even roasted tons of veggies for the whole week.

These pictures are taken from my kitchen as I prepared the food! Look at this chicken, doesn't it look divine?

  • Did a little work for my online business (while baby napped).
  • Had some quiet time with God and read my bible for a little while (while baby napped).
  • Went for a run with hubby and Nicholas.
  • Had some hubby quality time (after baby was put to sleep).
  • And ate 6 healthy meals and drank 80 oz of water.
  • And I even went to sleep by 9:30pm, wooohoo!

What a successful and accomplished day!  The best part of it is how balanced it was.  Sounds easy, but its not!  Its a constant daily struggle for me to do this!

What I decided to do in order to balance my life and be able to get it all in, is schedule it. So on Friday’s I look at the following week.  I designate certain tasks with an allotted amount of time for each task, each day.  I make sure that it is all balanced.  That I have time for “me” (working out), time for Danny and Nicholas, time for work, time for cooking my healthy meals, quiet time with God, and some “play” time.

It seems overwhelming but it’s not.  If you just organize your life, you can fit it all in.  Be realistic with what you want to accomplish for the week, and schedule it in a way that gives you time to do it all in a balanced manner.

I hope this motivates you to get your life in order!  If you do, you will make time for working out, for cooking healthy meals, and for CONQUERING YOUR DAILY GOALS.  And this will in turn make you feel good about yourself, which will in turn make you more SUCCESSFUL at everything you do.
