Holiday Workout Program

I know that the holidays are a hard time for people to find the time to workout.  Most of you are working full time and then going to social events and to the MALL.  What a disaster that is! I mean don’t get me wrong, I love to shop, but not during this time.  The malls are full of people that are cranky and tired, and they are not nice.  So my advice to you is to commit to 3 times per week to do your workout programs.  Try doing them first thing in the morning because as the day progresses you will be less likely to make it in to the gym.  I also know you must be pressed for time so I’m going to give you a quick workout program that you can do until the holidays are over.  All you have to do is commit to it!

You will do this workout program 3 times per week with a day in between of rest.

Perform each circuit 3 times.  For example:  Perform A1, A2, and the 30 seconds jump rope and core movement, rest for 30 seconds and repeat 2 more times.  Then move on to Circuit B.

Holiday Workout Program

A1.  20 Dumbbell Squats
A2.  20 Push-ups
30 seconds jump rope & 30 seconds Stability ball crunches
Rest 30 seconds

B1.  20 Stability ball leg curls
B2.  20 Dumbbell rows
30 seconds jump rope & 30 seconds reverse crunches
Rest 30 seconds

C1.  20 Lateral raises
C2.  20 Dumbbell rear delt extensions
30 seconds jump rope & 30 seconds plank
Rest 30 seconds

It should take you about 35 minutes to complete this workout.  I think you can dedicate 105 minutes a week to your body, health, and sanity.  I hope that you will begin this workout program tomorrow.  You will feel good, and most importantly if you are moderate with your nutrition, you will not gain any fat during the holiday’s, maybe even LOSE WEIGHT.
