• Choose exercises that use more than one muscle. The more muscles you work, the more calories you burn. Examples: Squats, Lunges, Push-ups, Pull-ups, Planks and Bridges.
• You should weight-train 3 times per week.
• Choose the goal: strength, gaining muscle mass or fat loss. Then choose the repetition ranges, 3-6 reps, 8-12 reps, 15-30 reps, respectively.
• Choose the rest duration depending on goal and repetition range. The greater the amount of repetitions the less time needed for rest. The lesser amount of repetitions will need more time for recovery, so will require longer rest (2-5 minutes).
• Every 3-4 weeks the program MUST CHANGE! If it doesn’t change, your results will plateau!
