Exercising while pregnant has many benefits. Not only do you prevent EXCESS WEIGHT GAIN, but you also SPEED DELIVERY and get into PRE-PREGANCY SHAPE much faster. There are so many great workouts for pregnancy, and I think there is a huge misconception on what you can and cannot do for exercises during pregnancy.
So today, I want to show you one great exercise that you can do while pregnant. During the next few weeks, I will show you a bunch of great exercises that you can do while pregnant.
Take advantage of this time (if its your first pregnancy) to go to the gym and give yourself this time. As when baby is here, you may not have that much time.
So many pregnant women complain of their hips and butt expanding :) so here is a great exercise you can do while pregnant that will work the butt and back of the thigh. These can be hard as a lot of them are done lying and you can't do that while pregnant (at least not for long).
So here it is:

By the way I was about 30 weeks pregnant here, so you can do these all the way to the end!
Make sure you slightly lean forward and fully extend your hip by extending your leg fully and squeezing the butt. Push out with the heal and don't over extend the spine.
Try 20 of these with very light weight on each leg.
This is a great exercise for pregnant women to work the butt.
