Diet For Wedding

Dieting is very hard!  It is even harder when you are going through stressful times……like planning a wedding.  So, what you have to do in order to lose fat and not go crazy, is eat moderately.  How do you do that?  No worries, I have a diet for wedding you are going to do great with!

Diet for Wedding Tips:

Eat a lean protein, a starchy carbohydrate, and a fibrous vegetable in small portions every 3-4 hours.  Example meal:  Grilled chicken breast, curry brown rice, cauliflower.
• Cook in bulks to make sure you always have food available.  This is very time efficient, and also saves money.
• Plan the day ahead in order to take with you the amount of meals needed for the day.
• If you crave something “bad”, eat a LITTLE bit of it.  If you don’t, you will most likely binge on it later.  But don’t take this too far, I don’t mean a little piece of chocolate everyday.  I just mean if you are really really really craving it.
• Drink a lot of water:  ½ of your body weight in lbs, in ounces.  For example:  if you weigh 100 lbs, you should drink ~50 oz of water.
• Cut down on the carbohydrate intake in your last meal.
• Enjoy what you eat, even if it’s healthy.  There are plenty of seasonings and herbs you can add to your food to make it tasty while still being healthy.

Here is a healthy recipe.  It’s quick, easy, and delicious.  It is a breakfast recipe, but you can also eat it for mid-morning snack or even lunch.  This is a great diet for your wedding, you can eat and enjoy it, as long as it is in small servings, and if it’s the right choices.

Wedding Diet Recipe:  Egg Burrito in a Bag

You can make ~ 5 of these at a time.
• Chop a bunch of your favorite veggies (broccoli, zucchini, squash, mushrooms, peppers, onions, spinach).
• Whisk about 15-20 egg whites with a splash of fat-free milk.
• You will need Ziplock bags, however many you are going to make.
• Shredded potatoes (these usually come in a bag and are refrigerated).
• Fill each bag with veggies of choice, ~ ½ cup of the egg mixture, ~ ¼ cup of the shredded potatoes, and a small handful of shredded fat-free cheese (optional).
• Zip the bag, and place it in a pot of boiling water, and boil for ~ 5-8 minutes.
