Crazy Busy? How do you LOSE WEIGHT & GET FIT with your CRAZY LIFE?

Today, I spent 30 minutes lecturing my beautiful and awesome and crazy busy client, Rachel.  She is a mother of 4 of which 2 kids are autistic.  You can imagine how crazy busy she is.  She doesn’t have much help and her hubby travels a ton.

She desires so greatly to get in shape, but she’s having a hard time eating right. For most people, the problem is they don’t have time to cook or eat.  For Rachel, she already cooks for her kids and she does eat but she picks at all her kids food all day.  I realized this when I read through her Food Journal.  Which if you don’t use one, you should.  This will help you a ton, people who log their food have 64% greater weight loss! Incredible huh.    Rachel hadn’t realized how much, excuse my language…….CRAP, she was eating, until she was writing it down and looking at it.

While you may be feeling pitty cuz she has 4 kids, no help, and crazy busy…….. I don’t, cuz I know that she can do better than this, and you probably can too!

You see, it’s not that she doesn’t have time to cook, she cooks every day.  It’s not that she doesn’t have time to eat, she eats at least 4 times a day.  She just hasn’t had the will power to not eat the left over’s of her kids snacks.

Life is about making COMMITMENTS to every little thing you do. You must COMMIT to grocery shopping.  You must COMMIT to not picking at your kids food, you must COMMIT to working out.

What I mean by that is if you don’t LITERALLY have a conversation with yourself and COMMIT to whatever it is you want to do, you won’t really do it.  If you commit to not snacking on your kids left over’s, when you see the left over’s you will think twice before putting it in your mouth.  If you didn’t commit, you probably will fail.

LESSON HERE:  COMMIT TO WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED TO DO to achieve your fitness goals.

Even with each set of exercise.  The other day I trained a former NBA player.  He would do 4 reps and stop, 2 more reps and stop, etc.  I had to tell him to STOP, LOOK AT ME, and I told him “YOU MUST COMMIT TO THE SET”, if you say to yourself, “I wont stop until I’m done”, you won’t stop”.  If you don’t commit, then you will probably stop 3 times in a 20 rep set.  SO DON’T BE AFRAID OF COMMITMENT!
