If you want to get in shape? If you want to lose some fat? If you want tone and definition in your body?
You must speed metabolism by eating every 2-4 hours.
I know what you are saying.........
"I work", "I have kids", "There's no way I can eat that many times"
And I say to you, "YES YOU CAN"
If you plan ahead and you COMMIT, you can do it.
Here is an example of my day on Wednesday (and how I made it happen), as I promised.
Breakfast #1: 4:30am:
Protein Muffins (I pre-make these on Sunday so I have them for the week, sometimes I make 2 dozens and I freeze 1 dozen for the following week.)
Breakfast #2: 7:30am:
Protein shake & some grapes (I am working at this time and in between clients so grapes are easy for me to shove in my mouth real quick in between clients as well as chug my shake) This gets me through a few more hours.
Breakfast #3: 11:00am
Egg white omelet with Roasted veggies in it and sliced avocado
I was finally home from work. The roasted veggies I made on Monday so I already had those made so this meal took me no more than 5 minutes to prepare.
Lunch: 2:00pm
Chicken Chili with brown rice and roasted veggies.
The chicken chili was left overs from Tuesday night. I always make extra of every meal I make so that I can use them for other meals. The brown rice was also already made, I made 2 cups of it on Monday night so that I would have it for hubby and I for a few meals. And the roasted veggies I also made on Monday. I always make a huge tray of roasted veggies at the beginning of the week cuz then I could use them in egg omelets, on top of a salad, as a side etc. So this meal took me less than 5 minutes to assemble and heat up.
Snack 5ish:
Tuna salad with avocado.
This was also pre-made. I actually made a huge tuna salad over the weekend, knowing I would eat some during the week. This is soooo yum, celery, red onions, scallions, dried cranberries, toasted almonds, cottage cheese and Dijon mustard. (takes about 6 minutes to make a huge salad).
So this meal took me no time to assemble cuz it was already made, i just sliced some avocados on top.
Dinner: 8ish pm
I know.......super late, but hey with an 8 month old baby (dinner, bath time, bottle, and bed time, this is the earliest hubby and I can sit for dinner)
Turkey Meatloaf with quinoa and veggies.
I made a huge meatloaf and a ton of the quinoa veggie dish so that i could have them Thursday for a snack or lunch. I made this while my son Nicholas napped.
Ok, so there's how its done! I am a mom, I work, I attend to my home and my family and I work on my online business, and I find the time to do it.
So girlfriend, organize yourself, get in the kitchen and cook some grub......and make lots of it so that you have left overs for other meals!
Good luck, I know you can do this!!
And its sooooo worth it!!! Yeah, when your body is ROCKIN' it will be all worth it!
