Brides Diet

Wondering what you should cut out of your bride diet?

I know what you are going through, working full time, planning a wedding, running around doing errands, spending time with fiancé, plus trying to workout and lose weight for wedding.  I want to help you so I'm going to give you the best BRIDE DIET!  I know how important it is for you to look your absolute best on the BIG DAY!  The last thing you want to do is go on a crash DIET!  A diet will completely restrict your caloric intake which will make you weak, irritable, and worst of all…….you will gain all the weight back!

I found a way to lose fat and tone your body without having to starve yourself, and exercise moderately because I know you don’t have much time.  So here is what you are going to do in terms of your bride diet.

Bride Diet Nutrition:

You want to speed up your metabolism so that you can BURN FAT all day long.  You can do this by eating often (every 3-4 hours).  You also want to eat foods that cause your body to burn more calories (thermic meals).

What do you eat in a Bride Diet?

A protein:  chicken breast, turkey breast, tuna, fish, egg whites, fat-free cottage cheese, egg whites.
A carbohydrate:  sweet potato, baked potato, brown rice, garbanzo beans, oatmeal, cream of wheat, whole-wheat products.
A vegetable:  broccoli, cauliflower, eggplant, asparagus, mushrooms, zucchini, squash, peppers, spinach.

How much do you eat?

You need to eat equal portions of the above mentioned.  So if you have a plate, it should have equal portions of protein, carbohydrate, and vegetable.  Each portion should be about the size of your palm or fist.

What should you cut out in a Bride Diet?

• You should cut out dairy products such as milk, yogurt, cheese, etc.
• You should also cut out high fat foods such as red meat, and any fried foods.
• You should also try to cut down on the whole-wheat products.  There are plenty other options for carbohydrates that you can eat.  Above are some examples.
• You should also cut out sugar and sodium.

Example meals:

Breakfast:  1/3 cup of oatmeal and 3-4 scrambled egg whites
Snack:  Oatmeal pancake (e-mail me for the recipe) www.michellemariefit.com
Lunch:   Grilled barbeque chicken, mashed sweet potato, and side salad.
Snack:  1 apple and ½ cup fat-free cottage cheese or 3-4 egg whites.
Dinner:  Grilled mahi-mahi over garbanzo bean salad and broccoli.
