ARE YOU OVERWHELMED? Is this preventing you from reaching your FITNESS GOALS?

If you are a MOM, I want you to know………  I totally understand you!

I know you have the desire to workout and eat healthy and have a ROCKIN’ BODY.

I also know how overwhelming it can be to wear so many hats all the time.  You are MOM, WIFE, BUSINESS WOMAN, HOME MAKER, ETC.

The other day I was driving to get my nails done after cancelling that appointment 3 times, and I cried the entire way there.  Why????  Who knows, I guess OVERWHELMED!  I mean, when you are a MOM, you realize your life isn’t really YOUR life anymore.  And it’s ok, it’s the most amazing thing in the world to be a MOM, and I am eternally grateful for it.  But holy moly, it can be very overwhelming.

I mean, I wake up at 4am everyday to workout and then start work at 6am.  Then I go home to play with Nicholas, feed him, etc.  Then I have to cook dinner, lunch for the next day as well as prepare breakfast for the following day.  I do a few things around the house, pay some bills, do some cleaning, write some programs, and SOMETIMES…….. I get to take a shower before Nicholas wakes up from his nap.  Then its play and go time with Nicholas again until hubby gets home at which point its WIFEY time!  Holy moly!

So when I say I get you…….  I DO!

But where there is a WILL, there is WAY!  And what is the WAY?

COMMIT & PRIORITIZE

What I mean by that, is have a heart to heart with yourself.  Is getting in shape, feeling good about yourself, being healthy and having energy important to you?  If it is, then you need to prioritize your life so as to make time for it.

For me it is, so when Nicholas naps, instead of taking a nap myself or watching tv or surfing the net; I cook healthy meals. Eating healthy and feeding my family healthy meals is important to me, so I make it a priority to cook healthy meals everyday.  Is it hard, YES, I mean I could be napping instead!  But it’s worth it.

I could sleep an extra hour everyday, but I commit, and choose to wake up an hour early to get a workout in. You can do this too!  It doesn’t have to be at 5am, it can be at whatever time you would like, but you must commit to it.

Mommies, I know your life is crazy, but you can do this.  I know you want to feel good about yourself and I know you not only want energy, but NEED it!  So prioritize your life, make a commitment, and watch your life totally change.

Now this doesn’t mean you won’t have a breakdown here and there like I did the other day, but you will jump right back into it, I promise.

I have been working on SUPER EFFECTIVE, SUPER QUICK, SUPER AWESOME 20-30 minute workouts, so stay tuned.
