Today, a client told me she could not stick to the eating program because she was tired of eating the same food! She needs this healthy cook book! I would be annoyed also, if I was eating grilled chicken with a plain sweet potato, and steamed broccoli. Wait, hold on, she was also eating ground turkey, brown rice, and asparagus. Remember that in each meal you must include a lean protein, a starchy carbohydrate, and a fibrous vegetable. Make sure to eat every 3-4 hours. Plan ahead and pack your lunch or snacks if you are going to be at work or on the road. If you plan ahead and have your healthy and tasty meals prepared…….you will be ripped in no time. Considering of course that you are exercising!
Here is a recipe for a sweet potato hash. It is super quick and easy to make, and it is absolutely divine! All you have to do is whip up some veggies and you are good to go…..a complete fat burning meal! Make the entire serving and you will have left over’s for the next few meals or even for the next day.
Delicious Healthy Recipes: Sweet Potato Hash
Ingredients:
1/2 pound extra lean ground turkey breast
1 medium sweet potato, cut into cubes and parboiled
1 large red onion, finely chopped
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons ground coriander
Instructions:
Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat with stock. Add the onion until translucent. Then add the turkey and break it up with a wooden spoon into little chunks, brown turkey for 3 minutes. Add the sweet potatoes. Season with chili powder, cumin, coriander, stir frequently and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the potatoes are nice and tender.
Enjoy this recipe! It’s super fast to make and it is delicious and HEALTHY!
